Philip D. Neuer is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Safer Textiles Group, a vertical textiles manufacturing conglomerate, and Safer Development and Management Company, its real estate arm. The Management Company operates in excess of three million square feet of commercial and industrial properties in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia plus a 180 acre industrial subdivision in Mexico. While engaged in the private practice of law, he has represented or continues to represent, among others, Trammell Crow, Chanel, Inc., MONY Real Estate, Helmsley-Spear, Planned Building Services, Inc., Kajima Development Corp., Cogswell Realty Group, The Thomas A. Edison Invention Factory & Commerce Center, Jaclyn, Inc., El Rancho Foods Group [Taco Bell franchisee], WindMill Franchise Corp., Amor Realty Co., L.P as well as celebrity chefs Douglas Rodriguez, David Burke and Jose Garces.
Mr. Neuer served on the Board of Directors of NACORE International from 1994 until its integration as part of CoreNet Global (ACoreNet@) as of January 1, 2002. These organizations foster the development of the profession of Corporate Real Estate Executive. From October, 1998 until December 31, 2001 he was President of the Institute for Corporate Real Estate (AInstitute@), the education division of NACORE. He is a past president of the New Jersey Chapter of NACORE and currently serves as Immediate Past President of the New Jersey Chapter of CoreNet Global.
Phil Neuer has appeared as a course leader and faculty member at numerous Institute and CoreNet Learning courses [Advanced Corporate Real Estate Negotiation, Advanced Office Leasing, Advanced Retail Leasing, Real Estate Financing, etc.], has been recognized as a top-rated faculty member for every year that he served on the faculty, 1994 through 2004, and was the top-rated speaker at the NACORE International Symposiums in Tampa, Florida [1996] and in Chicago, Illinois [1998]. He has earned designation as Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR). Mr. Neuer participated in the development of, and appears as an on-screen negotiator in, the Institute videotape series on Power/Real Estate Negotiating and International Lease Negotiations [for an office lease in London, England].
He was also was recognized by NACORE as its Associate Member of the Year at the Annual Symposium held in Chicago, June, 1993. In December, 1993 he received the George J. Fiore Award, as the NACORE Corporate Real Estate Executive of the Year for New Jersey. He is a contributing author to the Institute collection of works entitled Core Readings in Corporate Real Estate and a charter member of the Editorial Board of The Journal of Corporate Real Estate [published in Great Britain as the only fully refereed publication for the corporate real estate profession].
Mr. Neuer also serves as an adjunct faculty member for New York University, Graduate School of Continuing and Professional Studies, The Shack Institute for Real Estate
Philip D. Neuer has been appointed a Receiver and a Special Fiscal Agent by various Judges of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Divisions for Essex, Bergen and Hudson Counties, a Condemnation Commissioner for that Court in Essex County and has served, for over ten years, as a Mediator for the Essex County Chancery Early Settlement Program. Mr. Neuer has been designated by the Superior Court of New Jersey as a qualified mediator. He is presently serving as a member of the Zoning Board of Adjustment for the Township of West Orange, New Jersey.
Phil served four years in the United States Navy [1969-1973], during which time he received recognition as one of the Outstanding Young Men in America and as Sailor of the Year at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Lexington Park, Maryland and by the Commander, Fleet Air Wings, U.S. Atlantic Fleet [from Maine to Florida]. He received an Honorable Discharge and is designated as a disabled veteran. He has served on the Board of Directors [now, Trustees] of the Crown View Manor I Condominium Association, Inc.
Mr. Neuer is a graduate of The Baruch School of Business and Public Administration [now, Baruch College], City College of New York (B.B.A., 1968) and Seton Hall University School of Law (J.D., 1976). He is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit and the Supreme Court of New Jersey. He is a member of MENSA and his biographical sketch appears in various editions of "Who's Who". He has also recently won Marquis Who’s Who Distinguished Humanitarian Award in 2022!

Lisa A. Freed is an associate with Philip D. Neuer, P.C., concentrating her practice in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, commercial litigation, real estate tax appeals, business formations, and municipal court violations.
Ms. Freed received her Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University in 1987 and her Juris Doctorate from the Georgetown Law Center in 1990. Ms. Freed is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the US, the US Court of Appeals Third Circuit, and the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
